I have no idea and probably it would be very difficult to find a clear answer, because it is a very individual matter of each person and their ability to give up their passion to spend time in the non-hoofed company. Stable life is very demanding and engaging in terms of time and space, so before you realize it, it turns out that finding time for outside stable's life is almost impossible. However, as we know, in every person's life there comes a moment when the heart starts beating faster and acrobatics like Olympic gymnastics begins in order to reconcile the love for horses and a new person.
Of course, if the object of love is related to horse riding, our life begins to look like a fairy tale, and the dream of a knight on a white horse becomes a reality. However, as we know, the heart is not a servant and it happens that our new person is a complete horse novice and this is where the problems begin. It is best to infect such a person to horses right away, because this situation, a bit like in the case of a Covid quarantine, guarantees us the opportunity to spend time together as much as possible. Kidding. Of course, being in a relationship is the ultimate art of compromise, so in every healthy relationship people have time and space to do their own things and pursue themselves through their passions. Relationships directly affect our mental health, so it is worth ensuring work-life balance. In the case of horses, this can be difficult, but not impossible. You need to know and remember where stable life begins and ends - keeping your horse in a stable with responsible team of competent people becomes invaluable. At the same time, it would be nice to learn to respect the space and interests of our partner and the fact that even though our person may not love horses as much as we do, he or she loves us and at least tries to understand and appreciate our passion.
And although we know that no one else understands our sorrows and joys as well as our horse, it would be nice to have a human who can hug us after returning from the stable (or in the stable;).
